Excellent reception on the 1936 Emerson Ingraham AR-176*
2300 Time pips, YL "English Language Program" to beautiful, sacred music program for the entire half hour.
*Funny story about this radio. Found this very beat up in a barn sale in Pennsylvania. Upon research after the purchase, I learned (and it is stamped) as an Ingraham made radio cabinet. Ingraham specialized in clock cabinetry but did some work for radio corporations, they were based in Bristol, Connecticut. So, the radio housing returned to its place of birth with my purchase. Bristol's main industry now is sports programming (ESPN). The kids in Bristol are as sharp as a.......never mind.
