Excellent reception on the T/O G500 with just its whip


Manchester City versus Arsenal (a cracker so far with City scoring in first minute and Gunners tying)

1659z OM Live play by play "We're tied here at the Etihad 1-1" to news break during match at 1700z
1705z OM news presenter "We return to the match where it is 1-1"
1710z "De Bruyne was fouled" (What else is news?  Lucky he can walk!)
1744z "Goal by Aguero, a brace for him.  2-1 City"
1748z Halftime here ay the Etihad - City 2, Arsenal 1."
1800z "City 3, Arsenal 1" News Break again - ugh >:(!
1804z "We are going to return to the Etihad.  Manchester City 3, Arsenal 1 or the Aguero Show with a Hatrick"

Thanks for the post, am listening now on 17830 (of the three Ascension frequencies currently in use, this seems to have the best SNR).
1801 have had to switch to 15400 due to other frequencies going QRT, but signal is JBA.

Can't get 17830 at all today, 15400 is booming in as if was local AM  ;D!  A hatrick for Auguero!  Now this is THE BIG GAME!
