YHWH 7470 AM 0348 UTC 20 June 2019

Our ranting friend is back for the second night in a row on his "classic" frequency from last year. Pretty poor reception of his signal here compared to recent weeks.

As of 0403 UTC, the signal is now peaking with good reception at times now that we're just 5 minutes away from official sunset up here near Seattle.

Tuned over at 0412 just in time for "Days of Hard Life" !  I have no more need of this pirate during this spate of broadcasts.

June 20 - YHWH on 7470. Started out unreadable at tune in (0326 UTC), then improved to mostly readable (0340),
then back down again (0405). At 0413, heard the distinctive song ("Days of Hard Life"), before going off the air.

Not kidding: I had that song stuck in my head for an hour or so this evening after hearing it again. He signed off around 0415 UTC, not long after that "theme song."

It's far and away the most distinctive thing about this pirate, even more so that the extreme views, so I'm not surprised. He once had his show run on WBCQ, I think after his first FCC bust, and someone made a recording of that song from their webstream. So if you want to hear it in all its .mp3-quality glory, you can find it on youtube now.

That song is creepy.
Heads up - last summer he would sometimes be on during the day (local USA):
15085khz in the 2200z range and
11490khz in the 1800z range.

He generally comes on around 0300 and stays on til around 0430. That said, it's 0308z as I type this and there's nothing now.

I'll try to remember to look for that, but daytime bands have been very, very poor this summer on the whole.
