Picking this up at about an S4 with aviation weather in English. Also heard on this frequency earlier, Sydney and Singapore VOLMETs.

Nice catch!

Thanks! I also am currently listening to the Military One VOLMET on 11253 khz USB at 1900 UTC just above the noise. I thought of posting a logging of it because I've never heard it before here in Seattle but I imagine most people on the East Coast and in Europe hear it all the time so thought it too mundane.

The band musta been long or mebbe you were longpathing from Shanwick to Seattle around the light side.
RAF Volmet is on 11253, 5450, and possibly 4807.
The 11253 one is my goto europropagation indicator.
I suppose Brize Norton wx is given in multiple lists in RAF Volmet as Brize is the home base for SAS, SAS being Brize Norton frequent fliers.

Heard HSD at 1643-1647 UTC and 1740-1745 UTC on Nov. 12, 2019. The transmission ended at 1645 and 1745 UTC, followed by a very faint voice at noise level, presumably the Pakistan VOLMET on the same frequency. Reception was poor to fair on the peaks, with lots of daytime noise.

6676 and 6679 have been real hot the last few days! Propagation from Asia/Oceania to the west coast USA has been awesome.

I didn't hear anything definitively audible on 6679 this morning, though I tried. I wasn't too impressed with overall conditions, though I'm still stuck in temporary housing with a pitiful antenna compared to my longwire one at our normal house on the other side of Lake Stevens (maybe only a month until we can move back in!).
