Short-wave dot info isn't very complete in that regard.
When it comes to anything known to be jammed by China, it should never be reported as being that station without positive ID. China uses multiple transmitters at high power against these stations and it's my understanding that SOH is pretty low power to begin with. I remember when I used to be able to listen to RTI in English at 1100 UTC here in Denver, and that would switch to Mandarin at 1200 (same antenna, azimuth, and power level), only to have CNR1 come in on top of it several S units stronger. That showed me how much effort China puts into blocking these stations, and how unlikely it is to DX some of these stations.
One of the best, most sure-fire ways to tell what you've got is to listen for CNR1's telltale time pips at the top of the hour. They might also come at the 30 minute mark but I can't remember. But they're distinctive, different from other time pips, but also none of their typical targets use time pips at all. Another way is that if you're hearing China, sometimes you can find a legit, non-jamming broadcast and compare audio. SOH streams too - you have to find their site and translate it into English, but that's also a good thing to compare.
