8 MARCH 2020:  I got the GP-5/SSB about a week ago and thought I'd try out the ETM feature  on the MW band.    Launched the ETM search and came up with quite a few hits. Internal antennas, nothing external. Just a few logs:

650 KHZ  0424  UTC "PHANTOM 309".  WSM. Nashville TN.  466 miles

700 KHZ 0431 UTC   ID Sports talk focusing on some running back "Essex Johnson"   WLW Cincinnati OH  324 miles

840 KHZ. 0440 UTC. ID  0445 ART BeLL Call in talk show discussing the topic of Adoption.  WHAS Louisville KY 342 miles

860 KHZ 0452 UTC Talk radio in French.  YL & OM. CJBC Toronto Ontario Canada. 458 miles

980 KHZ 0502 UTC World news, Corona virus, etc etc .  WITY Danville IL.  1 kw.     ID 0505.  188 miles

UNID 990 KHZ. 0508 UTC. A variety of songs but all were Caribbean music with French vocals. Interestingly, had  an English speaking YL announcer.    Lost signal completely @ 0521 UTC.  Never caught an ID but presumably either CBC out of Winnipeg, Manitoba or (here's a long shot) CBOF out if Maniwaki, Quebec.

1020 KHZ 0525 UTC. "RadioShows" infomercial for classic radio shows.   Then intro of old DRAGNET radio shows. ID @ 05:31 followed by news block.   KDKA   Pittsburgh, PA    463 miles

1100 KHZ 0545 UTC Talk Radio. "Wild Card Line" with call in stories.   Another ART BELL replay.   Commercial block @ 0550 UTC. ID @  WTAM Cleveland OH.   355 Miles

The 990 station more likely to be CBW Winnipeg than the Quebec station which is low power
and all French format.
