Excellent reception

This is more of a report on how remarkable reception has become in the past hour.  I have been listening since 0930 and could barely hear music on the PL 880 with the long wire antenna.  Now, long wire unattached and I needed to turn volume down to avoid waking the sleeping.

I did inquire about their (lack of?) antenna switch at 1000 utc which would prevent my reception, no response to date.
