Feast Of Fools (April 1) has always been a day I looked forward to for a lot of pirate operation. I imagine there will be a lot of U.S. activity, unannounced beforehand.

April 1 is also a time for pranks among European pirates, such as pretending to be a new station on the air (or claiming to have obtained a broadcast license, such as Radio Nova did last year!)

All good fun, but I hope it doesn't spill over into the HF tests. I don't think it will, based on the stations involved, but you never know  Just keep it in the back of your mind if you hear something that doesn't seem right
