11 meter channel 29 usb June 13
« on: June 13, 2020, 2107 UTC »
While talking to a local friend on channel 29 in antioch illinois, we heard ssb on 29 and checked usb. There were a group of French speaking only dx chatter. We only heard the French voices and no other language and sounded like they were also trying to talk dx. One person replied back by saying "no english, Francis ". Only for about 10 minuets and they were gone. Happened late night Friday early Saturday on June 13.

Sounds like Sporadic "E" skip from Quebec. Tis the season for it. You may still hear Canadians on CH16 LSB still when Skip rolls from Quebec and Ontario.
Recently, a co-worker quizzed me on, "What would happen if you were to apply reverse polarity to the Energizer Bunny?". Having no idea, I asked, "What would happen?". The answer is he'd keep coming and coming and coming...
