10 June 2012

0112 Carrier on and into unid song
0116 OM tx, ID and addy?  "...radio at..."
0117 OM balladish vocal
0122 Police - "Roxanne"
0129 OM tx  - poss ID; the op's voice seems new and unfamiliar
0131 YL vocal - pop song, familiar, but I can't ID it
0134 Promo? - with child's voice
0137 more OM tx; hard to hear still; "...radio towers(?)...", "...right now, he he...", "...hello to everybody out there..."
0149 "Never On a Sunday"
0153 off

Hugging the noise and still weak, but has been coming up since program start.
Some deep fades and occasional pesc QRM aren't helping.  Really need to review the audio here.

I listened to all the possible ID points, and there really is nothing definitive there.  I can make out a few words and phrases from time to time, but nothing which IDs this.  Op seemed laid back and friendly.

Thanks!  We tried...

S4-S6 with heavy static tonight, tough to make this one out:

0134 UTC: Sounded like a parody ad for this "Lassie" commercial or PSA I often hear on the AM dial, though I can't place the ad right now.
0137 UTC: Mellow sounding OM ID and talk, but audio is too low to make much of this out.  Sounds like two OMs bantering back and fourth.
0143 UTC: "Souvenirs" by Voyage

SDR recording catch. Carrier came up at 0109z. I heard what sounded like IDs at 0116 and 0129 also, but couldn't pull it out of the noise. The signal was pretty much at the noise level. Off at 0152=3z.
