Pirate Radio Boston 6925a 6/22/12 1:37 sio 333, fair signal but kind of noisy, XX song playing, id at 1:41, id and "Ring of Fire" at 1:50

[corq]

SIO 232 in New Smyrna, music clear - op voice a little low; but we also have adjacent digital nose on the freq locally. Recording to follow. Thanks Radio Boston!

[Chanter]

Thanks for the tip-off, fellow message board folks!  I have it too.  Switched on at 0139 to music unfamiliar to me.  Into a male voice giving music information, contact information including the Belfast, NY maildrop, and a clear Pirate Radio Boston ID before back into music.  SIO 444, moderate and intermittent static, but signal otherwise quite good into southern Wisconsin.

Edited to add: Oooh, now that song I know!  Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire.  At least one more Pirate Radio Boston ID clearly audible, as well as reference to this being the first show of 2012.  Very cool.

Tune in at 0218 with song "Some Nights" by fun.  Good level but fady.  Nice to hear CL back on the air again!

[lightkeeper]

Received here on the west coast, weakly. I could only listen for half an hour or so from signon but, occasionally, the signal would come up out of the noise and I could recognise the music being played. Not bad for the longest day of the year, still broad daylight here for a signal travelling from coast to coast. Thank you PRB

[ChrisSmolinski]

Very good signal here via the SDR recording. Peaks to S9+30 around 0142z.
