UNID 6950AM 2220

31 Aug 2012

Fair level of S7 at 2220, but a lot of fades to the noise.  Continuous music as far as I can tell, as I heard no IDs until tune-off at 2233.

2321 re-check shows it still there, but right at the noise.
0012 Still there weakly w/ pesc QRM on the USB

The R8 has a het, but that's all.  Sounds like someone close by is watching TV again :-\

Just turned the radio on and found this too - S6 to S7, mostly over the static with song "One more time...One more time..." at 2348 UTC.  Good audio.

I think this is still the same station.  Suddenly peaking now around S9+5 here, very good audio.

0144 "I Saw Him Standing There" girl group cover
0147 Poss ID (I couldn't get it in the recording) and off.  Dang it!

But thanks!

Occasionally came up out of the noise on the SDR recording. One peak was about 0135 to 0145. There could very well have been an ID at 0147, but by then the signal was fading out. Carrier off about 0148 it looks like.
