I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Tough Propagation Tonight!  We are streaming .mp3 at BallSmacker.net.  3 listeners right now.  Too bad, it's a good show!
MUF looks to be about 2 MHz tonight.  We really don't have what it takes to drop down more in Freq.  Guess we'll just stay the course and hope next week is better.

Having trouble getting Positive AM modulation over 50%.  Does that mean we need a new tube?  Carrier is good at 200W but peaks are only 400W.  ALC is off.  Could be many $$$.  Sounds distorted on air.

I tried listening as well at the beginning of the broadcast and there was no signal into my location.

Although accurately predicting propagation is complex on its own, at 01:00 UTC, from my location to central USA, my prediction tools showed that the MUF was around 8.5 MHz and the optimum frequency around 8 MHz. The solar cycle being what it is, perhaps 6960 is a better choice for now.
