Had a hold of WWL 870 AM in New Orleans for a couple minutes w/ an ad spot for sports betting, before local monster on 860 wiped it out.

I hooked them for the first time last month and I have no idea why.    I've never logged them before .

They beam all their 50kw directly north so it should be a relatively easy catch but for whatever reason
their signal on any given night may be weak to unreadable.  Usually pre-dawn is the best time to catch
their signal here.

Just tuned in WWL at 0458 UTC 29 Jan 2022, listening to CBS sports show. Strong signal into WNY tonight, not the first time, that would have been back in the 60's on my Zenith TO. !

Fair signal this morning Tuesday 2-1-22 an hour before our sunrise.
Seems to me this station had a better signal years ago as opposed to nowadays.
