Radio Romania DRM 6040am

Getting Radio Romania DRM on 6040, had to tune down to 6035 am to get carrier. Bandwidth 10000 Hz on USB. Generally Radio Algerienne from Issoudun, FR gets cut off due to stronger signal by Radio Romania at 22:00UTC. Using free software "Dream".

Yes they will switch off DRM after 2-3 hours of broadcasting. This is the only DRM I can get from Florida. I can hear all of Brazil HF clearly but cannot hear the DRM they were suppose to be using on HF.
The channel on Radio Romania is id on DRM as is RRI Galbeni TX1 (AAC + Mono 20.96kbps). I have a screen capture but cannot figure out how to attach a pic to this thread.

If you are referring to Radio Marti DRM, unfortunately they use a newer CODEC which is not compatible with DREAM.

As for posting images, the image has to be hosted off-site and linked into the post. There is "how to" on the board here somewhere ... I just can't find it right now.

15 JAN THE LATEST FROM BRAZIL
In December Brazilian public broadcaster Empresa Brasil de Comunicação (EBC), assisted by Brazilian DRM Platform chair Rafael Diniz, transmitted 60mW of DRM at 6.180kHz (Rádio Nacional da Amazônia’s lower frequency) via a 20db gain SW antenna from Brasilia. The signal was heard on a Morphy Richards receiver at Ariquemes, 1,700km away.

Ahead of the official digital radio SW trial in Brazil, EBC engineers have been working hard to adapt their SW transmission equipment for DRM, already approved and much anticipated by the ministry and government. After this short transmission the plan is to purchase a 100W amplifier to boost transmission power.

As of this posting I can hear Radio Nacional da Amazonia on 6180 am, S9  but not DRM at 0104UTC in Portuguese broadcasting from Brasilia DF.

Other stations which I have successfully decoded with DREAM include: WINB (15752) and Radio Kuwait Digital (15105).

After a lot of experimenting, these are what I found to be the ideal settings for DREAM to lock and decode over an HF circuit.

Thanks for the list of DRM stations. Most important I saw a new Dream ver 2.2.1 that have the new codecs, etc that I will install.

Lots of issues with DREAM 2.2.x. A lot of people cannot get it working, including myself, and it requires Windows 8.1 or later to run. It is a bit of a "hack job".

I got Dream 2.2.X running using my Win 10. I got an error for PC CAP driver. Downloaded the program and Dream works good without crashing.

Now if they can only figure out how to compile this version for us non-Windows 10 users we would all be a bunch of happy campers.
