Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using a Hermes Lite 2 with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet.

Whoops! I forgot about the out of band legal stations when I posted this. I guess short-wave.info has some slightly out of date schedules because the only thing it lists for 5830 kHz is WTWW and that’s not on right now.

IRIB's 5830 is supposedly in farsi.

You mean you could understand them? Their modulation is usually in the crapper

Their signal was very weak so I didn’t notice the poor modulation. I have heard them with a strong signal using kiwiSDR’s (inaudible at my location) and they are quite distorted.

Its not IRIB, it is the Iran International TV relay from Tashkent in Uzbekistan. Transmission times are said to be from 1530 to 0330 hrs UTC.
Indoor setup: Elad FDM-S2 & MLA-30 antenna. One stock & another modified.
Outdoor radios: XHDATA D-808, Tecsun PL-330, Tecsun PL-390.
