I regularly get this frequency in CT USA.  I use it to compare receivers.   The weather information is always given by female.  This and the Shannon Volmet are good for checking antennas and receivers.  The path is a fairly long one for me over the Atlantic ocean.  Right now (2344 5/3/2022 UTC), the signal is good.
