I always thought of the Troggs as one of those "in between" groups,
not hard rock for their day but somewhere in the middle.
That of course is what I can remember from the events circulating
around my life at the height of their popularity on AM stations. I had
a very sensitive Blaupuntk (Spelling??) AM radio installed in my VW sedan.
They still seem to surface amidst all the "Magic Carpet Rides", just
south of somewhere "Painted Black" and going "Downtown" with Petula.
Those melodious songs still circulate at this time of my life and my wife
catches me zoning out to those songs of better days.
Catch you on the upbeat Reg
