Actual freq is probably more like 6869.8 - sounds better when I tune just a hair below 6870.

OM Speaking - something has exploded in mid air, mention of a helicopter, an observatory, and the planet Mars. Old time radio show?

Heard name "Irv Weinstein" and mention of Dunkirk, so this is definitely the Buffalo "War of the Worlds" broadcast. The Martians have landed on Grand Island and are fording the (Niagara) river toward the city. All power and communication has been knocked out in Lackawanna. Something about the Thruway.

Great program - real local broadcasters, local details - must have been terrifying!
