Equipment / Hypothetical Unlock of Chinese Radios (Which Models?)

Hello! I'm new, so all apologies if this is the incorrect place to post this question!

Which Chinese radios can be unlocked to transmit/receive on GMRS/CB/Ham bands?  I know that these exist, although I don't know which model to buy.

Or, would a better route be to purchase an SDR piece of hardware also capable of transmitting?  Do those exist?
