How sure are you of that 5900 kHz?  I have not seen 5900 in use for a while, and right this minute (0505 UTC) M8a is up on 5898, the frequency I have seen V2a, M8a, and SK01 up on recently.



Last night it was (2-22UT) 5900kHz 5F groups from 0500 to 0535 then a carrier to 0550.. 5800kHz 0600 5FG. Listening in AM mode with signal tuned to 5900 & 5800kHz.  The Spooks Newsletter website lists it as 5898kHz?

Heard a weak Radio Cairo tonite on 6270kHz @ 2:50UTC.

Signal in tonite (2-14UT) with a strong carrier, but lots of muffled audio. Sounds the some way as back in 1970!!

HF Beacons / 4089 khz

Heard 4089 kHz dashs until dawn fade out,  likely Death Valley N.P. ?? & running 500 mW.

Peaks at 4089.1 kHz and drops in strength with qrm from an ARQ nearby on frequency.

This station causes interference with CBU 690 during critical hours. Heard in the background most nights.
