Broadcast Announcements / BallSmacker On Air - 2 February
« on: January 31, 2024, 2327 UTC »
Look for Ball Smacker Radio most Friday nights at 9-10:30 PM EST (0200 UTC) on 6960kHz AM.  Reception report e-mails that identify our special theme for the broadcast will receive a special eQSL.  On-line stream of the broadcast at http://BallSmacker.net

We are going to try and have our wideband 4032 USB simulcast as well since 7 MHz is not working so well with the short days.

SSTV Picture distortion is not you, it is us.  We can't figure out why that happens.  Will do tests this weekend to track it down.  Sorry.

Message received.  4030 is definitely better...that's why we used to change with the DST switch.  6960 is super long even though we are pumping the highest power we've ever had.  We'll for sure do 4030 next week, probably in wide USB.  This week it is audio freq. cutoff is at 3.2KHz.

Simulcasting on 4030 USB, let's see if that's better.  Edit: It is.  Time to do both next week I guess.

Also, title is wrong, we are on 6960 AM (not 6950).
