Great S9+ copy here as usual and nice music.  Thanks for the broadcast Wolverine!

Sounded like dogs howling for a few minutes and then into slower instrumental music, maybe swing / big-band, no ID yet, weaker S5 signal battling the summer static.  The interval signal (dogs or whatever) came through stronger than the music currently playing.

S7-S9 here, live talk now about visiting deer camp in copper country during the summer with ferns taller than the dog.  Nice strong signal as usual.  Thanks for the show and music tonight Northwoods!  Da Yoopers now.

Hearing the blues on 6940u at 0600 UTC.  Weaker signal but making it through the constant static.  Music by Buddy Guy, nice mellow stuff.

Blue Ocean Radio IDs at 0612 and into live announcement.  Thanks for the shout-out and nice music tonight :-)  Nice signal peak during that ID.

Thanks to #pirateradio tip, I'm hearing this one very weak in west Michigan but I clearly hear Rod Stewart's "Maggie May" and then into Peter Gabriel's "Solsbury Hill".

Recording goes from worse to worser, but here it is.  No IDs heard:

6245 KHz AM Focus International 0246-0258 UTC 28JL12.mp3

War Pigs and into another string of Black Sabbath tunes, hitting S6 here - nice audio but just above the static level tonight.  R-O-R ID at 0147 UTC.

Thanks Rave On!

The Meduci decoder in the TS-140S seems to lose pilot easily in a fade.  I am in and out of lock with fading, and it is sometimes a pronounced difference, sometimes it is more subtle.  But it is stereo!

The pilot started out fairly consistent here, but now at 0230 UTC, it's averaging about 35%-50% with the signal fades.  I'd love for this test to repeat this winter without the summer static and a little stronger signal.  Agreed - great first effort here and like jFarley said - congrats!

Signed on just after 0200 UTC with test tones at various frequencies, then XFM ID with "C-QUAM AM stereo test transmission" followed by The Cars "Moving in Stereo".  S5 signal, static crashes making C-QUAM decode a little challenging but I'm locked onto the 25 hz pilot tones and currently listening in stereo via Perseus SDR + SoDiRa.  Will post a recording later tonight or tomorrow evening.  Thanks for this test XFM!

As promised, here's the complete reception as it sounded here:

I'm hearing BOR right now with banjo and fiddle tunes, weak, but it's getting through the static tonight at 0417 UTC.  I'm also hearing occasional chatter slightly over BOR on the same freq in unknown language.

Just turned on the radio and this is the first station I heard tonight! "Mike Radio" IDs and chatter right now at 0209 UTC, S6 signal.  Always nice to hear Mike Radio!

1272
Caught Bunker Radio here too, off at 0043 UTC.  Sign on and sign off with "Hello Radio" repeated several times in robo voice. S4 signal over summer static.

Thanks for the show!

Strong here too, but covering up another station now broadcasting on 6925am (weak signal).  Heard a shout-out to "Mr. Shortwave"

Someone weak here playing music, sounds like Art of Noise "Close to the edit".  Heard RML in USB breaking in a few minutes earlier, unintentionally I presume.

Metro Radio International ID at 0348 UTC.  Signal much weaker than earlier broadcast on 6899.2am.
