This is one of the experimental stations under an experimental licence of the High Frequency Trading (HFT). These geniuses pop-up all over the place with their wide-band experimental transmissions for the purpose of high frequency stock market trading transactions.

It shows up on this part of the band pretty much every evenings (EST) and stays around for several hours.

If you do a search for energy swath, HFT or High Frequency Trading on this board you will find some of my and other's threads with regards to this subject.

The image below is most likely what you were receiving. The signal is typically composed of 3 parts. The large "energy swath" on the left and 2 data bearers on the far right side of the screen shot. The image below is a bit of an anomaly. It had 3 data bearers.

22:20 UTC - Changed frequency to 6865 to elude the "energy swath";
22:21 UTC - Changed frequency to 6860. You are good there and away from the "energy swath".
