02:55 UTC - UNID with music. Something is wrong with the AM modulation. Listen in DSB with 8 kHz bandwidth or alternatively either in LSB or USB;
03:23 UTC - Going into a deep fade out. The signal is now just above the noise floor;
03:32 UTC - Station ID: Mix Radio International (MRI)
03:36 UTC - The signal is now all but pretty much gone to my location but still sounds great over the HFU KiwiSDR.

Note: If you are listening on a KiwiSDR in USB, set the filter to 5 kHz wide (I.E. drag the left side of the filter to zero and the right side to 5 kHz). This will produce some nice base in the audio.

00:37 UTC - Station ID: MRI
00:40 UTC - I just checked the University of Twente Wide-band WebSDR and the signal is making it over into Europe;
00:41 UTC - The signal level to my location has now dramatically increased to a loud and clear and about an S6;
00:44 UTC - Now an S9 to +10.

It might be a hard reach on this frequency today. Based on today's propagation prediction a frequency in the 14 MHz range appears to be more in favour. None the less, well worth the effort as conditions are always subject to change.

Propagation prediction to Europe at 22:00 UTC, 25 June 2022:



I have been occasionally monitoring the frequency but no signal coming my way thus far. If I follow the propagation prediction, that portion of the band should start opening up around 02:00 UTC and be optimum for that frequency around 03:00 UTC and good to approx 05:00 UTC.

10:28 UTC - 2 male UNID stations on 8393.3 kHz USB carrying on a casual conversation. Good readable. One station sounds like it may be mobile based on the background noise.

Similar in nature to the USB outbanders / fishermen 8393.22 USB 1830 UTC 20 JUN 2022 log entry. This is most likely the same operators.

03:23 UTC - Sycko is "on a roll". Still has a good signal bouncing between an S7 to S9;
03:46 UTC - Starting to go into a bit of a fade out. Down to an S6 ~ S7 and getting noisy;
04:04 UTC - End of broadcast.
04:05 UTC - SSTV. Too noisy to decode.
