  Yeah, just came in from the broadcast studio installing very nice Radio DJ dual CD player.
This is probably now serve as the studio here for productions. That said, We hear the station here at s 9 USB quite good s+n/N .. listening on FT 900.
About S 9 ..
at 0133- rock tune ..

  Yes, nice signal with static crashing. s-9 in Cherokee NC. Small fades, nice a strongest AM I've heard.

2310- See for Miles.. etc..
Using FT900 since Microsoft screwed over my SDR by an upgrade. Damn them !
Just restored old build on windows. !! Wish they would just leave a stable browser and OS alone!

Heard SSbanner at sign off.

  AM signal on FT 900. My SDR is down, driver issues after a rude windows ten upgrade.
s 9 plus and over static with thunder in the background. Not sure this same station as I am seeing on AM closer to .925

  Turned radio on late, but 5 9 plus 15 , a very strong signal, modest fades.
Using FT900 and a vertical tonight.

LuLu is very low power and FMs badly.
But, I assume one could remove crystal and install a suitable DDS.
The very low power really is a toy, but if modulator is clean , can be used for linear amp to perhaps 300 watts. The caution is, AB linear amps are only on average about 33 percent efficiency. So, obviously if you are using AM the pep will be 4 x carrier. The linear needs have balls to do 4 x carrier without becoming flat toped out.
The little rig I have FMs is useless really without a DDS, and could in principle be used to drive a linear to a practical, maybe 100-200 watts.

  The Hammers were talking about this last night. I didn't hear anything. But, there was a music jammer for hours on 3.850!
Just kept playing a loop over and again.

At least pirates don't qrm and we are entertaining. (or try to be)

   getting an AM signal here, through atmospherics and other strange junk. The SDR I have generates a lot of SPURS after dark or when multi KW propagandist AM shortwaves are on air.
  I think I have an ID at 2304 Z. SO I am receiving.
Signal to noise is now just come way up, but no real sign of carrier in AM. Now I say that is nothing short of a deep space catch.
AM and nice audio without a hint of carrier on my SDR !
OM Iding at 2319. Yes.. I do enjoy showing idiots weak signal sound like a KW when the noise goes away !
And yes I prefer a weak AM to a strong 3 kHz audio limited SSB any day. Just my prejudice.
Signal is now becoming quite listenable at 2322 Z

BTW that freakin frequency sweep was INSANE. It looked like a volcano going off in multiburst on SDR !

 I have pretty much forgotten SSB because, right or wrong, unless you build a special piece the bandwidth is dreadful 2.5 kHz. Like that is worse than a telephone in a third world country.
