Looks like it was at 6945 just after 0200 when I saw it on the SDR waterfall.  Then around 0209 it suddenly moved up to 6950, same dance/rave music.  Interesting stuff.  No ID heard yet.

Got it here on the Alabama gulf coast, too.  Nice signal, peaking only around S4 but clear audio.  Thanks for the show!

2302 - Rolling Stones, Get Off My Cloud, followed by Jumpin' Jack Flash.

Apparently the station went off and came back on, or this is a new station.  I'm not sure.

Edit to add: decent signal here in Alabama, S9 and low noise in the SDR. In AM mode.

Decent signal into coastal Alabama.  Boom Boom Pow (Black Eyed Peas) on at 0142 UTC.  Signal varies between S9 and S9+10 or about -65 dBm.  Music is pretty tinny sounding but clear.

Edit to ask: I count five pirates running AM mode tonight, is that some sort of record?   ;D

Carrier and faint music here on the coast.  Dang, sounds like my kind of music.  :-\

52
Carrier with faint music here in southern Alabama, but I can't tell what's playing.

Just stumbled across this, probably the best pirate signal I've heard so far here on the Alabama gulf coast.  Signals's only S8 but is surprisingly crisp and clear.  A little bit of fading, otherwise steady.  Nice!

Wish I had a better signal, I've never heard FM used on HF before!

Got it here on the gulf coast of AL.  Very weak though, S5, can only really hear the music in USB or LSB.

56
I've got the Eagles' "I Can't Tell You Why" but hard to say if it's in AM or FM.  I can only really hear it in AM USB mode, but it's clearly dual side band.

57
Weak here in SW Alabama, barely S5 and noisy.  Got Type O Negative's Black No 1 according to SoundHound.  Freq seems to be 6924.96 on my setup.

Edit: OK I'm a dolt, and obviously hearing something different than you guys.  My radio was in lower sideband mode!  Very weird.  Perhaps a pescadore?  I have nothing in USB on 6925.

Stumbled across this just now while the Turtles song was playing.  WDDR is a new one for me, and the first time I've ever heard anyone on 4020.  Signal's about S6 here.  Not big, but little noise so it sounds OK.  Thanks for the show!

Other / WI2JXP Experimental station @ 5058.5 kHz
« on: November 01, 2016, 0912 UTC »
I caught this beacon sounding off at around 3:30 am local time (0830 UTC).

It's on 5058.5 kHz.  It's slowly sending this in Morse code: “WI2XJP WAYLAND MA FN42HI”

WI2XJP appears to be a license for an experimental station in Wayland, Mass.  FN42hi is the grid square.

I'm afraid the FCC experimental license information doesn't really tell us much.  It's authorized on a variety frequencies, in a variety of modes, at 2 kW ERP.  Has anyone heard this, or know what the purpose of these broadcasts are?

Man I was banging my head on the desk trying to ID that song that played before Oingo Boingo.  I *knew* it was Ministry but couldn't place it.  Thanks refmo and Zane for posting it.  I missed any talk up that might have been given — the fades are getting deep.
