"S9+10 with the KX4AZ KiwiSDR. Wider bandwidth but sounding slightly quieter than 4030."

Interesting...both are tapping 100% Neg every 3 secs or so and running 110%-120% (4030 slightly less than 6960).  6960 is full 7.5KHz+ from 70Hz-7500Hz, no pre-emphasis.  4030 is on an "off the shelf rice box" heavily modified but stuck with the 200-3000Hz pass band. 

NA5B in Washington DC seems to get both signals adequately to compare, and yes they are in sync.

Strangelove:  AM Mod 100% Neg. 120% Pos., not sure why you think audio is low?  Thanks for your report though, we just want to make it better!

We will make 6960 Primary (better/wider TX / Ant) at the time change (3/17).  Until then we are trying our best to do both 4030 and 6960, so all can compare.

Thanks for all of your posts!  3 years...not sure how much longer.

Loving this show!  Great and thanks for the show.  Last show we are going to listen to this year...

Some severe fading due to propagation but nice wide bandwidth and great audio quality when it comes in and great song choices.
