That was a good day for me working 10 metres running QRP , first US contact with my under-performing HF vertical so I know conditions were Ok

Its a commercially made CB-10-11 meter antenna from a local Aus supplier, I"m using RG-213 and through to my IC-7300 also have an unlocked Lincoln II + for 11 meters.
I am in the process of making a home made centre fed dipole hoping for better results.

I recently put up a 10-11 Meter Band 1/2 wave Vertical (non ground wave) works better on MW then 10-11. Very disappointed with it tbh.
Maybe not high enough at around 20' high though

Strange how here in my QTH (Down under) on 27mhz CB6 and 4 southern states beaming in but all quiet on upper end SSB channels

Its been very quiet on 11 meters the last couple of days , the Japanese on CB ch4 superbowl has been consistant from around 07:30 local AEST for a few hours but no strong US which is disappointing:'(

This morning here heard stations from West Coast , Arizona, Colorado , Mississippi and even some random CH28 AM action from Georgia talking local I think

Getting US coming in a bit stronger today here in Sydney on 27Mhz, and NZ stations also making an appearance
