With the NK launch I thought this station might be active. Female 5 number groups with heavy QRM from nearby broadcasters.

Equipment / PA3GZK active receive loop

I recently reproduced a design by PA3GZK that is also described by PI4NOV. Has anyone else built one of these?
The copper for the loop and fittings is fairly expensive and its partially SMD, so be prepared for tiny soldering on small boards. I had to add a SMD low pass filter to the preamp input to suppress FM broadcast images, there aren't any close by AM transmitters so that wasn't a problem but I suspect close by transmitters would be. My finished copy about 5 meters above ground works so well across the LW/MW/HF band it's just shocking, it consistently out performs a 115' long wire and a wideband vertical by a wide margin.
Wasn't really easy and it took a while, but it was oh so worth it.

Weak with high static, couldn't copy the numbers but clearly a 5 number group cadence. Male voice until 0413.

Radio New Zealand "Voice of the Pacific with world and NZ news, music and weather for Pacific islands. Some fading but good copy.

Female synthesized voice, too far into the noise to copy but cadence sounded like 4 digit groups until 0630.

San Francisco ATC with aircraft position reports and flight clearances. Handing out secondary frequency 5574. ATC(?) generating a dual tone during some transmissions.
Edit: Just heard aircraft request "SELCO" check. Tones are call alerts so the crew doesn't have to listen to HF. Learn something new everyday.

Thanks for the info, 13.56 mhz is pretty obscure on Google search so thanks for the links. I shutdown NFC on all devices in the house and it persists, I'll have to take the sw-100 out for a walk and see if the source is localized.

Hearing solid S9 tick here in the mid pacific in the ISM spectrum that's not a listed time station that I can find. A carrier pulse on AM with no modulation. Double tick at the minute mark apparent on sidebands that matches WWVH.
Anyone else hear it or know about it?

HF Beacons / 7038.7 CW "K"

Heard consistently the last few nights. There's an occasional M or V at random interval.
Station isn't assembled yet after a move so this is on an 817 with a miracle antenna in the living room.
