Same here it ATL, very weak, can see a signal and trace on the scope and can tell there is some audiio associated but thats about it. 40m is totally blown out right now... might be better 2100 to 2300

In the noise near ATL. I just can barley detect a carrier on the water fall.

I saw the post on the Extream group on FB, thanks Chris. Haven't been keeping a log. S9 and S9+ at times. Seems to be the Stones Goat Head Soup Album?

There used to be a format where stations would play full albums and deep cuts, here in ATL it was WKLS 96Rock. Good to hear this stuff again after so long.

Thanks, Scott

EDIT: The format was called AOR. maybe we'll here some more on this freq?

Any way to upload/attach an audio file?

S7 copy into GA. Lots of electrical noise on my end to sift through. Spanish music?

Very nice! Wish I had the free space. Those sky wires are fantastic.

Here we have a double loop on 40m phased, switches to a single FW on 75/80m. Vertically hung, horizontally polarized mostly, apex bottom delta.

About to string up a 160m dipole, it will have a 130ft flattop with a 90degree turn at both ends and about 60 more feet vertical off each end, so it will hopefully not have any FW phase cancellation on 80 meter and work good there also. I am so surrounded by trees so alot of the RF gets absorbed/blocked.

:o Glad to find your board Chris. Been getting into SWL lately and via FB found out there are still Pirates! Imagine. :)

Thanks for the tip on this freq and band. Can't wait to see what is happening later tonight. I had 6.951 at s9+10 but then I have one hell of a big antenna. 40/80 meter super loop, 100+ foot flat top, with matching stub in the middle to phase both sides on 40m band.
