In the United States as you may know we have a new commander and cheif. We must all come together and help him.
That is to say that must have respect and in hopes of furthering the future of this world.
As it is certian that the bullying that happened to his youngest son was terrible. Done so by the mainstream media.
Please have some respect when discussing this topic. I need your help to stop suberverisves that are angering governments all across the world.
I propose a new standard of digital currency that will be used for donations to this website. I wont name it but we must take this battle of the airwaves off the air.
I write this during a thunderstorm as well. Please people, be humble to one another. This all one big mistake, i should of never of opened that portal.

Given the GRAVITY OF THE SITUATION we are in and the fact that not a single man has walked on the moon since the 70s, really bothers me.
For the sole purpose of this posting, it is in my best interest that we have you readers take note of this next part.
GENTLEMEN, SWLing is appearing to die out because of our counsureist 'groupthink' society we are living in. I don't see hope for future generations as they have no respect for the traditions that got them their in the first place.
BUT ALSO KEEP IN MIND what you enable people to do with a shortwave international broacast is let them talk on the ORIGINAL INTERNET!

Rant warning,
Given today's news about N.Korea, coupled with what is being said on "The Over Comer Ministry " (WBCQ 7.49Mhz) and the times I had psychotic episodes that had visions of 'connections'. I have to wonder if something is going to happen. See my later posts where I just throwing up links to random right wing proganda on youtube. A word of caution, not reccomended you actually look into it as it is pure nonsense and was an attempt to document my psychotic brain storm in hopes that someone would pick up either negatively or positively.
Of course thanks to modern psyctropic medication I am able to hash out things for myself and approach this rationally. Truth is I would say that something is always bound to happen. What is played out on the radio is just drama. The world is always screwed. Though what I would propose if any broadcaster is reading this and more specifically in that part of the world not to agitate the situation.
Keep in mind the nice thing about a radio broadcast is you can't stop it. Maybe you don't believe but what for which is above us, the sky father, listens to the broadcasts.
See what I am asking as I would like to understand that the old medium of radio is indeed the new underground while mainstream trendy internet sites have become old mind traps. If you are in possession of a radio transmitter, you are indeed capable of changing and possibly altering the world situation. For the love of what lies above us, do not broadcast hate propaganda or something that will upset someone enough to come find you to cause harm.
Basically cause a big enough haox, like a "God has arrived" deal, "all your weapons and bases are belonging to God now". Reach people at a spiritual level but not to shame them as if they are degenerate but more of a " Your God has never left you". Even if you do not believe in the divine, you at least know what karma is and the butterfly effect is. So if you will send a "Namaste" into the airwaves.
I am confident that someone reading this will get something out of this and relay the message to much more experienced negotiators rather than what is presented as such.

General Radio Discussion / Just some grievances I have.

I haven't prepared this in thought so this will be a rough draft.
See being a Radio Pirate is my Alter Ego, I do part take in the HAM spectrum but I am only starting.
The reason why I picked up on Pirate Radio is because the Equipment is much cheaper, in fact you could even make it yourself. Same could said for HAM radio, but do you know of any DIY kits for VHF and UHF that have all sorts of PL tones included with them?
I have not been raided by the FCC, but the thought is in the back of my mind. Given my three test broadcasts I cannot help but shake the feeling that I have managed to get on someone's radar.
With the way I see it carried on with people in the HAM world, you would think that I have murdered someone.
I just cannot understand this need to have the whole Radio Electromagnetic Spectrum under so much control when everything in this day and Age is at least done at least 2.4-5 Ghz and is all digital.
Apart from the members on this forum, how many of you can find SWLs in your neighborhood?
With all this super regulation it is no surprise to me that most of the Radio Hobby is dead.
Another thing I want to point out is this idea of Free Speech in America, if I voiced an opinion over a loud speaker apart from a possible noise complaint I would be protected(but even that's questionable), but if I use Radio to voice an opinion that could reach a greater distance I would be an outlaw.

The RF Workbench / I have a problem with the LULU

The MOSFET is getting hot when I connect direct DC to modulation PIN of the LuLu Board.
But when I used a Cap in series with the Mod pin, it stay cool.
I think though this is a trade off in power.

The RF Workbench / How did I boost the Range of my Transmitter?

So I've been experimenting, and have this relatively elementary question to ask.
Why did the circuit in the attachment change in distance?
Circuit #1 was what I had started with and had a range of about 100 feet
Circuit #2 is what I currently have and has a range of 1500 feet
I think it was because it was the increase in current due to the 120 ohm resistor being used, and also I was told that the removal of the 1k resistor allowed the transistor to use more power.
This goes into what I really want to ask, how do you determine the power of homebrew transmitter?

Hello all,
I am happy to be here because I cannot find any place that would cater to my Radio Experimentation needs.
I had posted a schematic on another forum of something I was working on but got told I was doing something illegal.
The way people carry on about this you would thing I was selling drugs to kids, or I had committed murder.
I work off of homebrew equipment on an undisclosed Shortwave Frequency.
I have concerns of being found out by the FCC, and had not yet developed a bug out plan in the event I get a knock at my door.
I'm keeping this brief because I wish to re-read the rules before I post anymore information in this thread, I so far cannot find the link.
