Got 2 of the ICF-2010s. Wouldn't sell either at the moment.

as I wrote above, (and highlighted in bold) that setting is not saved in NVM and you have to do that every time you run the the software. I don't have SDR# running constantly and since it does crash from time to time, it's not really my favorite feature.

By the way, depending on which RSP model you have, you can run multiple receivers (RSPduo) and all RSPs are capable of running multiple VRXs within the same bandwidth (decimation setting). This is how I am able to listen to, for example, 11175.0 kHz on VRX 1 and 11232.0 kHz on VRX 2. You certainly have the screen real-estate for multiple VRXs.
Nice! I still haven't come over to the dark side of knobless radios yet

However my biggest pet peeve is that it defaults to a mode where it makes receiving mode choices (AM/USB/LSB/NBFM) for you based upon frequency. Perhaps this is acceptable for VHF/UHF or exclusively HF ham frequencies but it is super annoying for HF if you jump around listening to a variety of different things as I do. You can disable this feature but it seems like that disable setting is not saved in NVM and when you power it on again, you have to disable it again. You can save the GUI layout for future recall but that setting is not saved or recalled as part of that save.

Edit, I updated the subject heading because I previously and erroneously said "12 bit devices," but it sounds like the RSP2 and RSP2 pro are compatible with SDRconnect, and only the very first RSP (later rebranded RSP1, distinct from the RSP1a) isn't.

I've had a rather disturbing thing occur, of which I don't yet know is just a coincidence and I need to test more. But I have found that I can't get SDRuno or HDSDR to work with my RSPdx at this time, and all that's changed recently is using SDRconnect. I have to emphasize that I haven't done any real digging on this yet, such as going to their Facebook page to see if people are reporting that they're having the same thing happen as well (I've pretty much given up on FB at this point, but I really need to get on there and see what others are saying). I uninstalled SDRconnect and restarted my laptop a few times, but both those older apps say there's no available RSP when I launch. I reinstalled SDRconnect and had the interesting experience that all the settings were as they were before I uninstalled it, so clearly their uninstall app isn't getting rid of everything. Again, it could be a coincidence but it would be a heck of a coincidence if that's all it is.

Thanks Mike for the news about the new NR5 filter. It works effectively but only in SSB modulation. Unfortunately, the AM and SAM modulations that are important to me are still devoid of noise reduction.
I'm disappointed with this and I'm waiting for an effective solution!
I deal with difficult interference by turning on the ECSS-U/L decoder, but the audio distortion is unpleasant.
