Tune in at 2220, with Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama", into Lizzy's "The Boys Are Back In Town".  Into Tull's "Aqualung" at 2228.  SSTV at 2234, followed by Rush "Spirit of Radio".  I LOVE Rush !!

UNID song at 2240, which I couldn't identify, but had a New York Dolls vibe to it.  "Boom Boom", by Pat Travers band, soon followed, then, more SSTV at 2248.

Alabama QTH.  2337 w/ Disturbed's cover of "Sounds of Silence.  Cranberries' "Zombie", followed.  Announcements by husky-voiced announcer at 2339.  Into "Wonderwall", by Oasis, followed by "Runaway Train", by Soul Asylum.  "Goatherder Radio" ID at 2348, with announcer saying he liked that song, and was getting ready to leave the air in about 5 minutes.  Followed by Red Hot Chili Peppers' 'Californication".

Only S5 here in N. Alabama, but steady signal.  Talk by OM announcer at 2306 about "getting out of bed" and previous Beatles songs played and their trip to India.  Into UNID Indian "Raga" music at 2310.

Alabama at 0029 w/ UNID Bluegrass song.  ID and talk at 0031 by OM, mentioning Pearl Jam playing in Vermont,  Then into live version of "Evenflow";  Followed by ID and lengthy talk by host Ezekiel, saying would be back on in a couple of weeks, talk about the Delta virus, said he was an Archangel.  Discussion about Bob Dylan and Donovan;  Closed out with "There Is A Mountain" by Donovan.  Off at 0044/  Great audio !

Alabama at 2334 UTC w/ "Losing My Religion" by R.E.M.  UNID electronica & dance music, "Everybody Wants To Rule Yje World" by Tears for Fears at 2353.  "The Boys Are Back In Town" by Thin Lizzy at 0003, followed by The Police "Every Breath You Take" and "Walking On The Moon", Toto's "Africa".  Possible ID at 0020, into "Ice, Ice, Baby" by Vanilla Ice.

IDs and announcements at 0038 mentioning streaming,  Clear ID at 0040 by female, including "he Mix, The Mix" and Thanks for listening"'  IDs as "Mix Radio is your official shortwave station" and Mix Radio International Shortwave"

S4 unto N. Alabama at 2228 with "Cocaine" by Eric Clapton.  Thought I heard the Bee Gees "I Started A Joke", a bit later.  Still going at 2251.  Definite "Vault" ID by OM at 2259.

Pounding into N. Alabama at 2320 w/ comedy bits (Nikki Sixx gotta get to a show), SSTV, Steve Vai-like guitar instrumental.  Plenty of SSTV.  PSY's "Gangnam Style".  Mashup of Rammstein's "Du Hast", Metallica's "Blackened" & Wild Cherry's "Play That Funky Music"

KILLER signal, here in N. Alabama, at 0044 !


All I could ID was the Clash "Police On My Back" at 0042, followed by talk by OM anncr about antenna issues, and something about frequencies.  Into UNID punk & new wave music.  Lots of QRN and slightly drifty, making copy difficult.  Possible ID at 0057.  At 0112, anncr gave some announcements mentioning a change in frequency.  It sounded like a change to either "5060".  Mentioned that it was a "Test Broadcast"
