A solid S8, here in N. Alabama at 2318, with minimal fading.  Pseudo-Pink Floyd artist, which I presume is the tune by Hanging Stars. Into song w/ female vocal at 2020.  I don't have Soundcloud running, so can't identify much, although the music is great !  "WTF - Radio Worldwide" ID by male announcer at 2331.  Into a a very Byrds-like pop song, right after, the another.  Hear d a "WTF Radio" ID by man, over the music, at around 2339.

S8 here in N. Alabama at 0041 tine-in to Dave Mason's "We Just Disagree", followed by female vocals for a song mentioning "My Beat".  UNID New-Wave-ish song w/ male vocals at 0047.  Into what sounded like a Steve Nicks song at 0051.  Into Philly-Soul type vocals at 0057.  Many "Radio 48" IDs y female announcer at 0103, with siren sounds.  Male announcer w/ e-mail addy at 0104.

"The Music Sounds Best on XFM" is not just a slogan, it's the truth.  You really do have the best audio quality, out there.  I also appreciate how you run your station as a "true station", rather than a gimmick.  That's something I've always appreciated about the Euros, and I definitely appreciate it, about XFM.

S8, here in N. Alabama.  Tuned in at 0042, to UNID new wave/alt rock tune.  Into Devo's "Uncontrollable Urge" at 0043.  Followed by Ian Dury & The Blockheads' "Sex and Drugs and Rock & Roll".  About 0050, a classical version of part of "Pictures at An Exhibition was played (I only recognized it, via the ELP CD I have).  Some sort of announcement (ID ?) by male announcer at 0055, then off.

Tuned in at 2257, to hear the Stones' "Before They Make Me Run", followed by ID at 2258, into "Shattered" by The Stones.  Maybe playing the "Some Girls" album.  S8 here in N. Alabama.  Nope, mixing it up w/ "Waiting For A Friend" from another album, at 2301.  Sounds of dogs barking at beginning of song.  Announcement at 2305, sounded like mentioned "that last song".  Into The Stones' "It's Only Rock & Roll". More dog barks and into "Emotional Rescue" at 2310.  ID at 2316; "Yeah, this is WDOG", into "Dance Little Sister" by - you guessed it - The Stones.  PSE QSL.  Info in message footer.

Alabama at 0208, with "Jeannie" by Elton John.  Into Chuck Berry's "Maybelline" at 0212.  ID (?) at 0214, into "Gloria" by Laura Branigan, followed by Dolly Parton's "Jolene".  Announcement by woman at 0222, mentioning "Ballsmacker-dot-net"  ??  Into "Amanda, by Boston.  Suddenly, off, at 0225.

Tune in at 2220, with Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama", into Lizzy's "The Boys Are Back In Town".  Into Tull's "Aqualung" at 2228.  SSTV at 2234, followed by Rush "Spirit of Radio".  I LOVE Rush !!

UNID song at 2240, which I couldn't identify, but had a New York Dolls vibe to it.  "Boom Boom", by Pat Travers band, soon followed, then, more SSTV at 2248.

Alabama QTH.  2337 w/ Disturbed's cover of "Sounds of Silence.  Cranberries' "Zombie", followed.  Announcements by husky-voiced announcer at 2339.  Into "Wonderwall", by Oasis, followed by "Runaway Train", by Soul Asylum.  "Goatherder Radio" ID at 2348, with announcer saying he liked that song, and was getting ready to leave the air in about 5 minutes.  Followed by Red Hot Chili Peppers' 'Californication".

Solid S9 here in N. Alabama at 0029 w/ UNID Bluegrass song.  ID and talk at 0031 by OM, mentioning Pearl Jam playing in Vermont,  Then into live version of "Evenflow";  Followed by ID and lengthy talk by host Ezekiel, saying would be back on in a couple of weeks, talk about the Delta virus, said he was an Archangel.  Discussion about Bob Dylan and Donovan;  Closed out with "There Is A Mountain" by Donovan.  Off at 0044/  Great audio !
