Shortwave Broadcast / Intermod in Moosbrunn, 06 Oct 2019
« on: October 06, 2019, 2250 UTC »
Early on the Sunday 06 Oct. 2019, from 0500 to 0530 UTC
I heard an intermodulation on 6335 kHz,
mixing Radio Japan in E and ORF in G.

I found the suspect frequencies :
6155 relaying the Austrian radio
5975 relaying Radio Japan (for just half an hour).

Probably a symetrical intermodulation is on 5795.

Of course, such intermodulation can happen in receivers or receiving antennas. But I have not seen anything like that in my present setup. And both the suspects came from the same transmitting site. And I got the intermod even using a tuned loop. And the intermodwas not very sensible to any degree of attenuation.

Probably I won't get up so early for days or weeks...
