HF Beacon on 13563 kHz, S5, solid signal with some static crashes. Difficult to believe this is a 4 mW transmitter using 1/2 wave dipole from an apartment in Madison, WI USA.

This appears to be a EAM message intended for LQ5PX followed by a 25 alphanumeric character string.  Very loud.

« on: March 06, 2016, 1824 UTC »
9395 kHz, AM, 1748 UT, 06MAR2016, No station identifier for more than 1 hour. Program now is 'Gospel Greatest' an affiliated TRUnews program from the 'Son Power Radio' using WRMI, Okeechobee, FL USA. Signals began with SIO 242 and now 344 with fading. Was this the old Global24 frequency? Can't find any ULS listing.

Agree - good opportunity to practice Digital AM Mode reception and decoding. Prefer Fldigi for PC/Laptop. AndFlmsg for Android devices works really well. MultiPSK works but images not as good as FLDigi and Text field-length is limited in free-versions.  Remember to enable the RSID for mode changes and center audio freq on 1500.

... then it disappeared

Propagation is improving, initially heard w/ poor reception at 0014 06MAR2016 but almost 54544 at 0030
