Channel Z is S2-S4 in New Hampshire, strong enough for decent copy.  Audio seems distorted but fades down into the noise  is contributing to that.

2130z Channel Z ID, "This is a special DX test transmission" - channelzradio@gmail.com
2140z Off or faded to nil
2222z "CZ" CW... way down in the noise

From 2125-2145 UTC I've been getting a weak carrier on 11428.3ish KHZ but no detectable audio. Not sure if this is it, but I am getting hints of audio since 2145 UTC. Sadly, no copy :(
2152 UTC I'm getting music now...maybe "Sweet Child of Mine"-G'N'R?
2158 UTC CW now...maybe CZ beacon again?
2211 UTC The unmistakable sound of the bass riff on "Radar Love"-Golden Earring :)
2221 UTC CW?
2230 UTC I give up! ;D My ears are bleeding..... :o
I assume that the signal is bouncing somewhere else.
Thanks for the test xmsn Channel Z!

Getting a moderate-strong signal here in South Central Michigan, playing rock music bu no ID or announcers yet.... tuned in at 2152 ... some pretty deep fades, and my local noise sources are working overtime today, but we'll see what develops......  Yup at :58 there was a voice ID and now they are doing the CW "CZ" over and over so it was them. Then a computer voice saying something at :59 and into the Doors "Touch Me" .... getting better as I listen....

DXing *either* from:
MI -- South Central Lower Michigan with a 25 m randomwire and a LOT of local noise!
or
MI2 -- the tip of Michigan's Thumb with a 100 metre longwire and much quieter conditions.  Radios can be either an SPR-4 or IC-R71A or SDRplay

About S4 with good readability.
2128 Alice Cooper "Elected"
2132 Channel Z Test ID into Sweet "Fox On The Run"
Signal took a big crapout at about 2135.  Intermittently readable thereafter, down in the mud.
2153 GNR "Sweet Child Of Mine"
2158 CW noted again, extended ID I think
2159 Doors "Touch Me"

Catching Channel Z here just above the noise at a S6 with CW ID I believe at 2158 into the Doors, then Golden Earring. Thanks for the show and the heads up email on this special transmission. ;D

Carrier is about 12 dB above the noise floor, can't make out any audio.  But hey, I am all the way on the left cost.

2252 faded up for a few seconds, heard something about test transmission for Japan and maybe an email address.
