Clever Name Radio 6923.3 USB 2249 UTC 1 Aug 2022
« on: August 01, 2022, 2251 UTC »
Strange frequency, I have a fair/good signal.  Just played a Doors song and now I think Metallica one.  Thanks for the show.
2256U John Melloncamp, Summer of 69
There is another signal under this.  One can hear it when the music stops.
2304, tried Shazam on the song playing now and did not get a match
Thanks Charlie don't surf for the insight on noise.
2307. Male giving ID, but, could not make it out.
Female voice confirming the frequency and announcing "Request Line is Open".  Maybe Clever Name Radio.  Sounds familar.
Beatie Boys on now.
How about Ruby Tuesday by Rolling Stones, please?
2313U, Thanks for the Stones.
How about Thunder Road, Bruce Springsteen
2323, Female voice "This is not Clever Name Radio".  Thanks for song.

There is another signal under this.  One can hear it when the music stops.

Pretty sure that's the fan in the operator's room or the cooling fan on their transmitter, which implies that they either have an open mic going all the time or they have a bad case of "microphonics". (Google it) Anyway, I've heard this TX before. Just can't remember who it is, if there ever was an ID.  :D

YL computer voice with UK accent and fan noise in the foreground makes it hard to understand the announcements.
"(Something) Main Radio"? "Costello Main Radio"?

No, "Clever Name Radio"

I don't STRETCH the truth.

"Every minute I spend in this room, my signal gets weaker.
Every minute Charlie squats in the bush, his signal gets stronger."
