LOGO RADIO 6925 USB was AM 2317 UTC 08 AUG 2023
« on: August 08, 2023, 2317 UTC »
2317: old time music
25222, S7
2319: '40's type mx; YL singing -- "Let's Misbehave" - Janice Hagan
originally thought this was USB due to not hearing mx over pesky on LSB
2322: mx continues
2324: announced switch to USB at approx 6925.7, then silent for a while, then back on at reduced strength, then back to 6925
2327: "We Just Disagree" - Dave Mason
2329: more mx
2332: OM seems to mention "Radio ..." and "broadcasting from ... Island" - could not make out -> "You're Driving Me Crazy" - Les and Larry Elgart
2337: more 40's type mx
2340: "All That Jazz" - Janice Hagan
JBA, virtually nothing visible in spectrum, only a little signal seen in FFT
2344: signal jumped dramatically; 35333; "I Could Write a Book" - Les Elgart
2347: OM: "You are listening to an experimental broacast of x?x? Radio. Please stay tuned" -> "Some Like It Hot" - Janice Hagan
- on 6926 for a few seconds then back to 6925
"Lost In Meditation" - Les Baxter
"Harlem Nocturne" - Less and Larry Elgart
35343
2355: "Calcutta" - Les Baxter
2023-08-09 14:49 - changed ID to "LOGO RADIO" per dxace1 - thanks dxace1!

Thank you for the broadcast and the nice music!

Tuned in just at 2325 with apparent ID  ". . . . radio"
Then shifted to USB
High band noise but strong at Arlington VA SDR
0002 checked back to hear Janice Hagan Making Whoopie
"You're listening to an experimental broadcast of Logo Radio.  Please standby for a continuation of our program.."
Final announcement encouraging everyone to have courage and perservere etc then off abruptly with no additional ID
0007 close

Now on 6925.0 USB. SINPO 33233 on an SDR in Massachusetts. There is a peskie on 6925.0 LSB.

2326 - Dave Mason, "We Just Disagree"
2332 - Male: "Thank you for tuning in to (unintelligible) ..... broadcasting from Little Diamond Island*. Tell us what you would like to hear."
2347 - Male: "You are listening to an experimental transmission from Lego(?) Radio. Please stand by for a continuation of our broadcast."
2349 - Transmission moved to 6926 USB for a few seconds, perhaps by accident, then back to 6925.0 KHz.
0000 - Noting that signal appears to be stronger in the northeast US than the midwest or southeast.
0006 - Signoff announcement without ID. Recording started a little late: https://voca.ro/1c3fAwPzeeJC
Seemingly right on cue (or by coincidence), the "flamethrower" starts up on frequency just after signoff. You can hear it at the tail end of the recording.

* For what it is worth, this is in Casco Bay, Portland, Maine, USA.

I don't STRETCH the truth.

"Every minute I spend in this room, my signal gets weaker.
Every minute Charlie squats in the bush, his signal gets stronger."

2337 UTC SIO 433, S6 but heavy noise level into my SDR direct
2337 I hear 30/40s style music but too much noise to ID.
2345 I could write A Book by Les Elgart.
2346 Heard an OM giving an ID? If so I was unable to pull it out.
2350 Music with female vocal.
Thanks for the program this evening.

SINPO=24222

2357- Old time jazz recording with YL vocals, with "Makin' Whoopie" sound to the chorus, but words sound different.
0002- Another old time jazz tune with faint YL vocals, I think (signal dropped or faded?)
All reception direct-- From my location, radio and antenna.
QTH New Hampshire (70 miles north of Boston).
Tecsun S-8800 and Kenwood R-2000, with about 135 feet of wire thrown up in the trees.
eQSLs most appreciated to molvaniapoacher@gmail.com.
