Good for them.

SALT LAKE CITY — So-called free-range parenting will soon be the law of the land in Utah after the governor signed what appears to be the country's first measure to formally legalize allowing kids to do things on their own to foster self-sufficiency.

The bill, which Gov. Gary Herbert announced Friday that he'd signed, specifies that it isn't neglectful to let kids do things alone like travel to school, explore a playground or stay in the car. The law takes effect May 8.

Don't they know that childhood is the gateway period to the teens? No one wants that. Keep 'em small and use 'em as a team to plow where the ground is too much for the wives to pull the plow through. The kid's low center of gravity gives 'em a mechanical advantage in dense soils that your six wives can't match.

Lol that's nothing, an emt I worked with sent her 9yo to China alone. She had been chatting online with someone in China for years and he invited her over, so she sends her daughter.
