Good reception, English service

1559 Bow Bells IS
1600 Straight into coverage of Spurs/Newcastle match which immediately catches first goal of match.  Spurs 0-Newcastle 1.  Requires VAR check as contact made with keeper outside of box.
1611 Miss clearance by Spurs keeper, stolen by Newcastle.  Driven toward goal and shot past keeper Spurs 0 - Newcastle 2.  BBC OM "Spurs have to score before the half"
1619 Halftime
1635 BBC OM commenting on torrential downpour that started during halftime as match resumes.  "No changes for Spurs as we start....the rain is heavier than ever...."

Picked up my DX-160 with operating guide a couple years ago at a quarterly swap at The Vintage Radio & Communications Museum of Connecticut (I remember you said you visited.)

Yes, the museum was really good. My son is a Air Force Radio tech and loved the place . We had a guided tour. So much stuff and info about it. Haven't been to the swaps though.
I bought my DX 160 about 4 years ago. It's had a lot of mods, digital frequency counter, recapped and a few other things. Surprising how well it works. Lots of fun.
