DYG Beacon 13564.82 KHz
« on: October 26, 2023, 1951 UTC »
I have activated beacon "DYG" on 13564.82 KHz, on the same antenna and solar/power I was testing the dasher on down on the lower frequency. I am hearing it very strong right now on the KFS SE KiwiSDR so it appears to be getting out well. Running on a Comet CHA-250B vertical at Part 15 power levels. Reports appreciated, thanks!

Thanks for keeping an ear out for it Bill. I heard it solid and strong on the KFS SE KiwiSDR earlier today, it seems to make it in there regularly (of course, considering the antennas they have!). Solar/battery are holding up very well so it will remain on the air unless I turn if off for a few minutes here and there to check the band myself. 22 M is certainly an interesting band and as you say, makes it fun especially to see a few miniscule milliwatts make it into other states.

I first heard TON fade up and went over to DYG freq. and as I supected
DYG was there.  Both beacons out of AZ.
This is only the second time I have heard DYG.

Thanks Bill, been tied up the past few days, and was just over helping AC7GZ find a nasty noise source was clobbering him DC to daylight, rouge switching power supply. I should be back listening now. Also had an issue with my HFU notifications going to spam, that should be fixed now I hope. Cloudy with rain the past few days, first time for the DYG solar power and it has performed great so good to go.

Nov. 22 time 0003 utc  DYG faded up.
Generally if TON fades up DYG does also.  But not always.  That makes listening
more fun for me.

Feb 19 time 0126Utc DYG blasting into Colorado, it was the strongest I have ever heard it,  The other Arizona beacon TON was Q5 as well but not as strong as DYG.
When DYG faded out AN faded up and was strong.  Does anyone know where AN is located?
