Javelina Radio 6935 USB 0051 UTC 13 Jul 2015
« on: July 13, 2015, 0058 UTC »
Came on after Northwoods signed off. OM talking, some comedy bit?
Then into music.

0142 ID by YL? "...broadcasting... six thousand nine hundred thirty five..."  Repeated a few times but very difficult to decipher. Maybe Cat Radio, which makes me want to think she said Kath Radio, as in KATH, which sent SSTV earlier??  (Note to ops: synthesized voice is very very difficult to decipher, especially when you mix in some static)

SSTV at 0148:

Restart at 0103 with better modulation... ;)

Catching some type of talk show but static levels from the severe storms moving in is making it almost impossible to hear. Peaks hitting at S7. Going to back on out of here and play it safe. :)

Also had this here with Temptation Eyes.  Announcement repeated several times with ID and frequency by sythesized YL.
The frequency was easy to understand.  I believe the ID was Javelina Radio.

SSTV looked like a part of a Javelina QSL.
