Amphetamine Radio 6925 USB 2324 UTC JULY 23, 2015
« on: July 23, 2015, 2331 UTC »
Hearing spoken word at 2324 UTC and now music at 0029 UTC. Signal is rising in and out of the noise and static...poor copy, but there is something there.
2336 UTC Signal picked up a bit during a flute instrumental...sounds like a TV program or something of the sort.
2347 UTC Still hearing this with a widely varying signal with some spoken word over eerie sounding music/sound effects.
2353 UTC Faded in with TV theme music...sounded for a minute like the little musical ditty with the pocket watch played in "For A Few Dollars More" with Clint Eastwood...
2359 UTC Signal is gone I think....hard to tell
0005 UTC Back again but very weak...
0012 UTC Signal jumped a bit...still playing eerie sounding flute or violin music...either some B-grade sci-fi or spaghetti western music.
0014 UTC OM said something...
0017 UTC Sounds like a QSO between ops now..hmmm, voice is familiar
0024 UTC Signal boost now with QSO in progress. Really loud here with OM and YL...
0028 UTC S7 now with TV theme music again
While we're on the Clint Eastwood movie theme request...how about "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly"-Hugo Montenegro? :)
0033 UTC "The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly"-THANKS! I used to be able to whistle that tune back in the 60's!!! ;D
Also here... http://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,22641.msg82224.html#msg82224

Thanks JFarley and ByteBORG for confirming the Clint Eastwood movie theme :)

Getting what sounds like an old radio program here at 23:56. It's just too noisy to make out the content, although the signal is moderately strong

Very very weak.  I can hear what sounds like a music box or music from an ice cream truck, but it's mixed in with the noise.  No audible speech.

0028 Theme from "Two Mules for Sister Sara"  -- THANKS!  Right considerate of you.  I love Ennio Morricone's work
0033 Theme from GB&U (Waa waa waaaa)
0036 It's a showdown!  I bet Angel Eyes draws first
0044 audio sounding a bit hot now; can't make out the song; another showdown?  I think Indio's gonna get his
