Bobo showed up for 37307 decodes at 169 degrees, English turn for 664 decodes at 169 degrees, 4224 from Angleton at 187 degrees. These are very close to the minimum of the loop. Yet, nothing from Aransas Pass, which is back on the air. High angle of incidence, perhaps?
I only had a few (39?) decodes from Aransas Pass that night, and IIRC it they were during a brief period of time. None so far this past night, and the decodes are already to 1010z, perhaps they are still doing work to the site?
Regarding loops at LW, my PVC loop will generate nulls, but they are very sharp, and unstable. Within a few minutes what was nulled is no longer nulled, and is not that much weaker vs the loop maximum. I need to re-adjust the bearing to null again. And some stations are much more difficult to null than others, which may indeed be the angle of incidence. If it is too high, and not directly on the face of the loop, I don't see how electrically you can get a good null.
