2358 some mx, barely heard (after Brasil 6925 LSB turned off)
then peaks of music just above noise background, 0006 lost or end

No solar flares. We haven't even had any sunspots at all for days  ;D

It's just low solar activity leading to low ionization and low foF2 values. Head down to the lower bands for DX.

p.s. I checked the SDR recording for this transmission - nothing heard here.

 :D You are so right. I think that's why engineers really stopped designing serious communication networks on HF right after WW2, except VOA and USSR began to play radio wars on shortwave with 500kw (God Forbid ) transmitters in sixties.
Today VOA a ghost ship except to attempt to blast away a socialism in Cuba. LOL The Radio Martii, what a JOKE.
