BBC via Oman 7405 AM 1605 UTC 1 Nov. 2018
« on: November 02, 2018, 2332 UTC »
Heard BBC via A’Seela, Oman, on a couple frequencies starting at 1605 UTC, including 7405 kHz, which was relaying English news toward Africa, and 5975 kHz, which was carrying the Dari service toward East Asia (confirmed that by comparing it with the same service via Thailand at 7465 kHz).

The English service on 7405 kHz was a good signal, with some fading and static, but overall at SINPO 35333. The Dari service on 5975 kHz was fair, with a weaker signal, as well as a pulsing, whistling interference (it sounded like a truck backing up and beeping) from an unknown source.
