After months of hunting, this is actually my very first pirate catch ever! I live in an apartment with a huge noise floor, so hunting can be pretty difficult. But this was actually captured with a Sony SW7600GR portable using only the stock whip! I'm pretty excited. From Sherman Oaks, California.
The frequency I had the best reception was 13873 usb. Had interference from a RTTY signal or some other digital mode at 13870, as well as some popping sound from a local something. SIO was about a 3-2-2
Cool AM Relay
19:13 utc- A blues song
19.14 -Sounds like a male voice ID of station
19:15-A slower blues song
19.17-Signal improves slightly
19.20-Song change to song with piano
19.24-Song change to song with male vocals and harmonica
19:29-signal improves again slightly
19:30-song change
19:37-signal goes back down into static
19:43-sounds like station ID. Male voice. I can only make out the phrases "Otis Redding" and "First album I ever heard..."
19:53-Song with Male Singer, sounds a bit more modern than previous music
19:57-Sound like an ID, mentions "Europe" and seems to give a web address
Thanks a bunch for the show. It was long enough that I got to practice my SSB tuning. Due to the heave noise, and my lack of familiarity of the genre, sorry I couldn't be more specific with the song reports. Thanks again, and have a great new year!

If possible, it would be great to get a QSL. Paper or otherwise. I'm pretty excited about my first catch. Time to invest in that Pixel loop antenna...
