The one pirate may not be able to hear the other, depending on how the atmosphere is behaving. It will happen more and more as the solar cycle improves. It's just part of the game.

Ah,the Penguins, of course.

I ran low power, if I lost it every time someone stepped on me, I'd have blown a gasket and been six feet under in my first six months out. It's just part of being a pirate.

Don't mention those infernal SDR's. He may be an Orthodox Pirate who only uses radio's with knobs, as God intended.

0215Z - Hearing Ball Smacker Radio in AM on 6960.0 from Michigan but QRM in USB also on 6960.0, some kind of noises and echoing tones. Switching to LSB on receiver eliminates the QRM.

I used to work at a bowling alley in H.S. It ruined my hearing but I was able to swipe some snazzy bowling shoes.

Bad Ballsmacker. Correct, he just didn't check. With all the remote SDRs there is no excuse to step on anther station. He's done it before. No one owns a frequency or a time slot and if you have to wait or change freqs, that's the way it goes. Same for everybody. Just my 2 cents and not trying to make a big deal out of something that didn't affect me but we all work hard to go on the air and we need to have respect for the other stations. Ballsmacker has a great station going but is not more important than all others.
QTH- East of everywhere.
