69 MHz VHF CB Sweden only Swedish 69MHz FM mode VHF mid band.
License free - often used as an alternative to the 31 MHz band license free band, 26/27 MHz CB band, the 155 MHz Hunting Radio Service or the UHF KDR444 and PMR446 services. Very similar in function to the Finnish RHA68 VHF mid-band license free land mobile service in Finland and the 78 MHz VHF CB service in Thailand.
License free VHF mid-band 66-88 MHz band 70 MHz band 69 MHz...relatively new allocation authorized in 2016.

People interested in radio technology usually talk on 69.1875 MHz (channel 8). Just like the PMR446 band, the radio hobbyist calling channel is channel 8.
Like other license-free services (such as 11-meter 27 MHz CEPT EU standard CB or PMR446) the 69 MHz license free radio allocation is popular with radio hobbyists as well as private individuals, hunting clubs, businesses, outdoor organizations, hikers, backpackers, hunters, outdoorsman, farmers, taxi drivers, rideshare drivers (Uber, Lyft, etc.) and numerous other groups.
